This is a piece of work based around a village called Ayios Sozomenos found in Cyprus, which was lived in by Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots. By the early sixties the residents were forced to leave due to social and political conflicts, and by 1974, at the time of the Cyprus invasion, there was no trace of man living in the village. The man I interviewed, Adamos Demetriou, was the last Greek Cypriot president of the village who kindly told me the story of Ayios Sozomenos.
